4mm needles

Approx 28 grams Dk yarn

Size:

Length:            16 cm

Make 2 

Cast on 42 stitches

1st Row:    * k1, p1, repeat from * to end

Repeat last row 12  times 

Work in stocking stitch for (1 row knit, 1 row purl)

Continue knitting until 16 cm from cast on edge

Join side seam for 6 cm from bottom edge, leave gap of 8 cm for thumb, join rest of seam

Darn away ends

Easy Men’s Head Warmer

Uses 2 strands dk yarn held together 

Approx 23 grams each of 2 colours

Size 6 mm needles

Measurements - 52 cms around, 11 cms wide

Cast on 18 stitches with 2 strands of yarn

Worked in garter stitch throughout

Knit for 52 cm

Cast off, join seam

Leftovers Hand Warmers

Requires approx  15g of  3 colours of Dk  yarn

 size 4 mm needles

Colour 1

Cast on 36 stitches 

Knit 8 rows in k1, p1 rib 

Colour 2 

Row 1: knit (right side)

Row 2: purl to end 

Repeat the 2 rows 4 times

Colour 3 

Continue these two rows until work is 11.5 cm

Cast off

Sew up side seam leaving a gap for thumb and catch above with a few stitches
