Dk yarn and oddments of a fluffy or eyelash yarn

Ribbon 

4mm needles

Cast on 34 stitches in fluffy or eyelash yarn

Row 1:    Knit

Row 2: knit

 Change to dk yarn

Continue in garter stitch ( every row knit) for 6.5 cm

Change to fluffy or eyelash yarn

Knit 2 rows

Cast off

Using double strand of yarn thread through top approx. 3 rows down, pull to close, knot each end and tie in bow

Scraps  of left overs Dk yarn 

4mm mm needles 

Work with scraps of yarn with each colour enough for at least 2 rows. Change colour randomly at start of row.

Cast on 36 stitches 

Row 1:    *k2 p2, repeat from * to end

Repeat this row for 8 cm

Cast off

Using double strand of yarn thread through top approx. 3 rows down, pull to close,  knot each end and tie in bow

Oddments of double knit yarn

Cast on 36 stitches

Row 1: k2, p1  to end

Row 2: K1, p2 to end

Continue for 7 cm

Next row: knit 2 tog to end

Next row: purl 2 tog to end

Cut yarn leaving a length to thread through remaining stitches pull to close and sew seam

Small amount  of dk  yarn 

Bow or flowers to decorate

Cast on 24 stitches

Knit 4 rows in garter stitch  (every row knit)

Row 5:, knit 4, *yfd knit 2 tog, repeat from * to last 4 stitches, knit 4

Row 6:, knit 4, purl to last 4 stitches, knit 4

Knit these 6 rows  8 times total

Knit 4 rows

Cast off 

Weave in ends
