Oddments Dk yarn

Flower and gems  to decorate 

Empty yoghurt pot measuring 5 cm high x 13.5 circumference

4 mm needles

Cast on 32 stitches

Knit 2 rows

Row 1: * purl 1, k1, repeat to end

Row 2: knit

Repeat these 2 rows for 6 cm

Knit 2 rows

Next row : knit 2 tog across row, cut yarn leaving enough to thread through remaining stitches and sew seam

Attach flower to top and gems to the pot rims

Rosie’s Turban Headband

Approx 25 grams dk in 2 colours

Uses 2 strands knitted together

6 mm needles

Size: adult

Length ~ 48 cm

Cast on 16 stitches 

Row 1 : Knit. 2 * purl 1, knit 1, repeat from * to last 2 stitches, knit 2

Row 2 : Knit 2* knit 1, purl 1, repeat from * to last 3 stitches, knit 3

Repeat these 2 rows for 48 cm or required length 

Cast off. Join seam

Take a long length of 2 strands of yarn and wrap it around the band over seam to create  the turban

Keturah’s Headband

Approx 15 grams dk in 2 colours

Uses 2 strands knitted together

6 mm needles

Size: adult

Length ~ 48 cm

Cast on 18 stitches 

Row 1 : Knit  to end 

Row 2: Knit 4 stitches purl to last 4 stitches, knit

Repeat these 2 rows for 48 cm or required length 

Cast off. Join seam

Flower 

Cast on 40 stitches 

Knit 3 rows in k1, p1 rib

Next row : knit 2 together to end, break off yarn and thread through stitches, pull tight, sew seam.

Add button and attach to head band

Sybella Headband

Approx 15 grams Main colour and oddments of contrast dk yarn

4 mm needles

2 buttons

Cast on 15 stitches in contrast

Row 1: knit

Row 2 knit

Next row: make buttonhole 

Knit 3, yfd K2 together, knit to last 5 stitches, yfd k2 together, knit 3 

knit 10 rows in garter stitch

Change to main colour 

Next row : Knit 2, *p1, k1, repeat to last 2 stitches, knit 2

Repeat this row until main colour is 48  cms

Knit 1 row

Cast off

Add buttons to contrast part
