Topsy Baby Mittens

 

Birth - 3 months

Make two mittens

Approx 10 g Dk yarn

3.25 mm needles

4 mm needles

With  3. 25 needles cast on 24 stitches 

Row 1: knit 1 , p1 to end

Row 2:  knit 1 , p1 to end

Repeat last 2 rows 3 times increase one stitch at beginning of last row

Change to 4 mm needles

Knit 20 rows (10 ridges )

Next Row:  K1, *K2tog, k1, repeat from * to end

Next row: knit 

Next Row: k1, *K2tog to end

Cut yarn, leave enough yarn to thread through remaining stitches, pull gently to close and to stitch seam
