Primitive Bunny Pocket



Oddments Of Dk yarn including contrast
Ready made bunny
Flower or button to decorate 
3.25 needles

Measures approx 7 cm x  7 cm 

Cast on 14 stitches

Knit in garter stitch (every row knit) for 14 cms
Add extra stitches and rows for a bigger pocket

Fold down the top over 2cm to form a pillow
Using contrast yarn sew down pillow sides.
Sew along bottom of pillow

Fold bottom up level with pillow edge,  sew running stitches down first seam.  Add a button or flower to front of then sew running stitches down other side.

Pop your ready made bunny in pocket

Primitive Wedding Favour bag



Oddments White Dk yarn
Silver thread or any colour eyelash yarn
Measures approx 7 cm x  8 cm 

3.25 needles

Cast on 16 stitches

Knit in garter stitch (every row knit) for 14 cms
Add extra stitches and rows for a bigger bag

Fold in half and using silver thread or eyelash  yarn sew running stitches down first seam.  Add a button or flower to front of bag then sew running stitches down other side.

Using thread double work running stitches around top of bag 4 rows down from opening.  This creates the draw string  to close bag. Knot both ends.

Primitive Gift Bag



Small amount of main and contrast colour Dk yarn
4 mm needles

With main colour cast on 20 stitches

Knit in garter stitch (every row knit) for 20 cms

Cast off

Fold in half and using contrast yarn sew running stitches down first side seam.  Add a button or flower to front of bag then sew running stitches down other side.

Using yarn double work running stitches around top of bag 4 rows down from opening.  This creates the draw string  to close bag. Knot both ends

Melody Fingerless Gloves


Measures about 9 cm high

About 30 grams of  D. K. Yarn
size 3.75 and 4 mm needles

Cast on 36 stitches with 3.75 needles
Knit 6 rows in k1, p1 rib

Change to 4 mm needles
Row 1: knit
Row 2 :knit
Row 3: knit 1, *yfd, k2 tog* repeat to last stitch knit 1
Row 4: purl
Row 5: knit
Row 6: knit

Repeat last 6 rows   8 times 


Change to 3.75 needles
Knit 4 rows in k1, p1 rib

Cast off

Sew up side seam leaving a gap for the thumb


Knit 2 rows

Flowers to decorate

Knit 2 pieces

Cast on 5 stitches
Work in garter stitch (every row knit) for 5 cm
Next 2 rows: cast on 5 stitches at the start of next 2 row
Knit 4 rows

Cast off 5 stitches at the start of next row
Knit across centre 4 stitches and work 4 more rows on centre 5 stitches

Rejoin yarn to remaining 5 stitches

Cast off

Sew seams on right sides

Decorate with flowers

Using Double  knit wool and 
size 3.75 and 4 mm needles

Cast on 36 stitches with 3.75 needles
Knit 6 rows in k2, p2 rib

Change to 4 mm needles

Row 1: purl 6, * k4, p6, repeat from * to end
Row 2: purl
Row 3: knit
Row 3: purl
Row 5 : p1, * k4, p6, rep from * to last 5 stitches, k4, p1
Row 6: purl
Row 7: knit
Row 8: purl

Repeat last 8 rows 4 times

Change to 3.75 needles

Knit 4 rows in k2 p2 rib

Cast off

Sew up side seam leaving a gap for the thumb
