Oddments of tinsel yarn and double knit
Size 8 needles
Wooden spoon approx 15 cm high
Knitted in garter stitch (every row knit)
Bodice
Cast on 9 stitches in dk yarn
Knit 10 rows
Cast off
Wrap around the spoon and stitch on to make a bodice
Skirt
Cast on 34 stitches in tinsel yarn
Knit 7 rows
Next row knit 2 tog across row
Next row : knit 2 tog across the row, knit 1
Leave a length of yarn to thread through stitches, pull to fit spoon then sew seam. Attach to spoon
Thread yarn around head to make a turban
