Repeat these 2 rows for 13 cm

Button hole row: k3, yfd k2 tog, knit to end

Knit 3 rows

Cast off 26 stitches knit last 5 stitches

Strap

Knit every row on these stitches for 20 c m

Cast off

Knit 2 pieces

Cast on 36 stitches 

Knit 4 rows in

Row 1: knit 2 purl 2 to end

Row 2: Purl 2 knit 2 to end

Row 3: purl 2, knit 2 to end

Row 4: knit 2, purl 2 to end 

Repeat these 4 rows for 14  cms

Cast off

Join sides leave gap for handle and spout

With 2 strands of yarn thread sew running stitches around top at start of knit rows, pull tight and tie in a bow

Ribbon or cord

cast on 68 stitches in contrast 

1st Row   *k1, p1 to end

 

Repeat rows 3 more times

 Change to main colour

1st row: p1, *k1, p1, rep from * to end

2nd row: Knit to end

These 2 rows form the pattern

Repeat for the last two rows until 15cm from start

Knit 2 rows

Next row (right side)  k1,* yfwd k2 tog* repeat to last stitch, knit 1

Knit 7 rows

Cast off

Sew back seam

thread ribbon through eyelet holes and pull and tie in bow
