Cast on 28 stitches
Knit 6 rows
Row 7: knit to end
Row 8: knit 4, purl to last 4 stitches, knit 4
Row 9: knit to end
Row 10: knit 4, purl to last 4 stitches, knit 4
Repeat the last 10 rows 4 more times and rows 1-4 once
Knit 2 rows
Button hole row: k4, yfd k2 tog, knit to end
Knit 3 rows
Cast off leaving last last 5 stitches on needle
Strap
Knit every row on these stitches for 16 cms
Cast off
Add button
