4 mm needles
Cast on 28 stitches in white
Next row: *knit 2, purl 2 repeat from * to end
Repeat this row for 7 cms
Change to red
Next row : knit (decrease 2 stitches across the row)
Next row: purl
Repeat last 2 rows for 6 cms
Next row : k6, cast on 4 stitches, * k3, k2 tog, k2, k2 tog, k3, k2 tog , cast on 4 stitches, k 6
Knit 1 row
Cast off
Sew back seam
