Size 4 mm needles
button, safety pin
Cast on 26 stitches
Pattern rows
Row 1: knit
Row 2; knit
Row 3: k1, p1 repeat to end
Row 4: k1, p1 repeat to end
Repeat the 4 rows for
80cm or required length
Cast off
Brooch
Cast on 48 stitches,
K1, p 1 to end
Repeat 1 more time
Next row; k 2 tog across row,
Next row: k 2 tog across row, to last
stitch, knit 1
Break off yarn leave a length to
thread through remaining stitches and pull right. Add button and safety pin
