4 mm needles
Small amount of Dk yarn
You will need a roll tube, cut a piece 4 cms high and a circle of card for the base.
Flowers for decoration
Cast on 32 stitches
Knit 3 rows
Next row: knit 1, *yarn round needle, knit two together to end
Pattern rows
Row 1: knit
Row 2: knit
Row 3: k1, p1 repeat to end
Row 4: k1, p1 repeat to end
Repeat these 4 rows 3 times
Knit 4 rows
Cast off
Join side seam
Fold up the knit rows and secure on wrong side to make picot’ edge. Slip onto tube
Handle
Cast on 5 stitches knit in garter stitch for 11 cms
Cast off, fold in half lengthways and see seam. Attach to inside of tube by stitching through card and knitting.
Decorate with flowers etc.
