Cast on 56 stitches
Knit 1 row
Start with a knit row Work in stocking stitch until work measures 3cm ending with a purl row
Next row: knit 2 tog across the row (28 stitches)
Next row: purl
Next row: k2tog to end (14 stitches)
Next row: knit
Stocking stitch next 5 rows
Knit 1 row
Cast off
Sew back seam
Attach a small piece of ribbon to centre front and cover with a rosette
