Button

Cast on 12 stitches

Knit 2 rows

Next row:  knit 2, knit into front and back of next stitch, knit to end

Repeat until 30 stitches on needle

1st row: knit 

2nd row: knit 5, purl to last 5 stitches, knit 5

Knit until 18 cms

Knit 2 rows 

Button hole row: k4, yfd k2 tog, knit to end

Knit 3 rows

Cast off leaving last  last 5 stitches on needle

Strap

Knit every row on these stitches for 20 cm

Cast off

Add button

8 mm needles

Red ribbon

Wiggly eyes

Small amount of toy stuffing

Make 2 pieces

 Knitted in garter stitch throughout (every row knit)

Begin at the bottom cast on 8 stitches 

Knit 2 rows 

Next and every row:  knit 2, knit into front and back of next stitch, knit to end

Repeat until 24 stitches on needle

Knit 6 rows

Next row: knit 2, s1, knit 1, p.s.s.o. Knit to end

Repeat last row until 8 stitches remain

knit 2 rows

Fasten off

Second side 

Repeat as above

Arms

Cast on 24 stitches in red

Cast off 

Knot one end for hand

Attach to body before closing seams

Sew both sides together add ribbon loop first

Fill with a small amount of toy stuffing

Join seam

Fit on canister

Add bow and fill with dried flowers, pack with cotton wool balls
