Book marks made from card measuring 15cm x 4 cm

Cast on 26 stitches

Pattern  rows

Row 1: k2, * p2, k2 repeat from * to end

Row 2: p2, *k2, p2 repeat from * to end

Row 3: repeat row 2

Row 4: repeat row 1

Knit these 4 rows for 13 cms

knit 1 row

Cast off

Fold in half lengthways, sew bottom and side seam. Fold corner on top front and add a button to decorate

Small jar of jam (optional)

Ribbon

Cast on 30 stitches

Pattern  rows

Rows 1 & 2: knit

Row 1: k1, p1 repeat to end

Row 2: p1, k1, repeat  to end

Knit these 4 rows 5 times  (or to length of jam jar plus a few extra rows)

Eyelet row

Next row: k1, yfd k2 tog, knit to last stitch,

Knit 4 rows 

Cast off

Sew side and bottom seam

Thread ribbon through holes

Cut and tie a bow

Next row: k1, yfd k2 tog, knit to last stitch,

Roll on deodorant (optional)

Cast on 30 stitches

Knit 3 rows in fancy yarn

Change to dk yarn  and continue

Pattern  rows

Row 1: knit

Row 2; knit

Row 3: k2 p2 repeat to end

Row 4: k2, p2 repeat to end

Knit these 4 rows 10 times

Cast off

Join the side  and bottom seams 

using 2 strands of yarn together thread through the top about 4 rows down from cast on edge.  Cut and tie on bow

Change to dk yarn  and continue

Pattern  rows

Row 1: knit

Knit these 4 rows 11 times

Cast off

Join the side  and bottom seams 

using 2 strands of yarn together thread through the top about 4 rows down from cast on edge.  Cut and tie on bow

Pattern  rows

Row 1: knit

Knit 2 rows

Cast off 

Sew both seams

Peg baby clothes 

Cast on 18 stitches

Knit 14 rows

Next row, knit 2 tog across row

Join seam, fit on peg

Gather  bottom 

Add face
