Measures approx 14 cms square

5 mm needles

Oddments ofDk yarn using 2 strands together

Cast on 24 stitches using two strands of different colour yarn

Row 1:   K1, p1,  * to end

Row 2: K1, p1,  * to end

Row 3: knit

Row 4: knit

Knit these 4 rows  8 times in total

Cast off 

Weave in ends

Brown Eyelash yarn or similar, oddments of natural coloured and black dk 

Size 4 mm needles

Small amount of toy stuffing 

2 Black beads for eyes

Cast on 28 stitches with eyelash yarn

Knit 16 rows in garter stitch ( every row knit)

Change to dk yarn

Row 1: K4, K2tog, K7, K2tog, K7, K2tog, K4.

Row 2: Purl

Row 3 :K3,* K2tog, K5, repeat from * to last stitch, K1.

Row 4: Purl  

Row 5: K2, K2tog * K3, K2tog, repeat  from* to end 

Row 6: Purl 

Row 7: K1 * K2tog, K2, repeat from *  to end 

Row 8: Purl

Change to black for nose

Row 1: * K1, K2tog, repeat  to last stitch, k1

Row 2: Purl 

Row 3 * K2tog to end 

Row 4: Purl 

Row 5: K2tog, K1, K2tog

Row 6 Purl

Cast off and sew up on wrong size.

Add stuffing

Close bottom

Oddments of dk and eyelash yarn

4 mm needles

Worked in garter stitch throughout ( every row knit)

Knit 2 pieces 

Cast on 18 stitches in eyelash yarn

Knit 2 rows

Change to dk yarn

Knit 22 rows

Cast off

Sew a couple stitches at shoulder seam, and sew up side seams leaving gap for armhole

Cast on 22 stitches in eyelash yarn

Row 1: * knit

Row 2. Knit

Change to d k yarn

Row 3: Knit to end

Row 4: purl to end

Repeat rows 3 and 4  3 times 

 Next rows knit 2 tog across row

Next row: purl 2 tog  till last stitch, purl 1

Cut yarn leaving enough to thread through remaining stitches and join seam

Approx 40 grams of  Dk yarn

Make 2

Cast on 38 stitches

 Knit 8 rows in garter stitch

Next row: knit to end

Next row: knit 4 purl to last 4 stitches, knit 4

Repeat last 2 rows 20 times

 Knit 8 rows in garter stitch

Cast off

Sew seams from top edge for 5 cms

From bottom edge for 8 cms

There will be a gap for thumb

4 mm needles

Cast on 28 stitches in eyelash yarn

Knit 2  rows

Change to dk yarn

Work in stocking stitch 10 cms (1 row knit, 1 row purl)

Shoulder straps,

Cast off 6 stitches, knit 7 stitches, knit 2 tog, knit to end

Next row: cast off 6 stitches, knit 6 knit 2 tog, turn

Knit 19 rows

Cast off

Rejoin yarn to remaining stitches 

Knit 19 rows

Cast off

Join back seam 

Join shoulder straps at back on either side of  seam.

Leftovers Skirt Set for Barbie

 

Oddments of dk yarn

4 mm needles

Change colours randomly at start of row even if there is only enough yarn for a couple of rows.

Skirt

Cast on 26 stitches 

Row 1:  *k1, p1, rep from * to end

Row 2: Knit to end

Knit  2 row pattern until skirt measures 8 cms   (Knit 2 tog 2 each end of last row)

Knit 4 rows in k1, p1 rib

Cast off

Sew back seam on right side

Top

Cast  on 14 stitches

Row 1: p1, *k1, p1, rep from * to end

Row 2: Knit to end

Repeat last 2 rows 3  times

Next row: knit 7 stitches

Turn knit across these 7 stitches

Work in garter stitch (every row knit) on these stitches for 19 rows

Break yarn and attach to remaining stitches and work to match first side

Next row: knit across all stitches

Row 1: p1, *k1, p1, rep from * to end

Row 2: Knit to end

Repeat last 2 rows 3  times

Cast off 

Sew seams up to start of neck division using a flat stitch
