1 cup tea pot 

Approx 15 grams each of contrast and main colour Dk yarn

3.75 mm needles 

Ribbon or cord

Knit  2 pieces

Cast on 34 stitches in main colour

Knit 6 rows in garter stitch (every row knit)

Change to contrast

Row 1: knit

Row 2: purl

Row 3: k1, p1 repeat to end

Row 4: k1, p1 repeat to end

Repeat these 4 rows 4 times 

Change to second colour knit 2 pattern sets

Eyelet row

Next row: knit 1, * yfd, knit 2 tog to last stitch, knit 1 

Next row: purl

Knit 4 rows in garter stitch ( every row knit)

Cast off

Join sides leave gap for handle and spout

Thread ribbon through eyelet holes

Add button

Knit 6 rows in garter stitch (every row knit)

Change to red

Row 1: knit

Row 2: purl

Repeat these 2 rows 14 times 

Eyelet row

Next row: knit 1, * yfd, knit 2 tog to last stitch, knit 1 

Next row: purl

Change to white yarn

Knit 4 rows in garter stitch ( every row knit)

Cast off

Join sides leave gap for handle and spout

Thread ribbon through eyelet holes

Add button

4th Row: Purl

Repeat rows 1 - 4  11 more times ( for a shorter version knit pattern rows 10 times)
