oddments of Dk yarn
4mm Needles

Bow
Main part
Cast on 40 stitches
Knit 10 rows
Cast off

Join seam to make a circle
Fold flat with seam at middle back

Wrap around
Cast on 8 stitches
Knit 16 rows
Cast off

Wrap around centre of bow pull gently to make a bow shape, stitch seam and secure to main part
Add button for decoration

Lacey Bow
Cast on 18 Stitches
Row knit
Row 2 : knit 2 , *yfd knit 2 tog*  knit from * to last 2 stitches, knit 2

Row 3 : knit 2, purl last 2 stitches, knit 2
Repeat last two rows 4 more times
Next row: purl

Cast off

Wrap a length of yarn around centre to make a bow
Add button

Flower
Cast on 40 stitches
Row 1: knit
Row 2 : knit 1 , *yfd knit 2 tog*  knit from * to last stitch, knit 1
Row 3 : purl
Row 4 : knit 1 *s1, k2tog, psso*repeat to end
Row 5: purl 2 tog to end
Leave a enough yarn to thread through stitches and pull tight.
Sew seam
Pull into flower shape

Add button for decoration

Size 4mm needles

Cast on 90 stitches
Knit 6 rows

Row 1: k to end
Row 2: k 6: purl to last 6 stitches, k6
Row 3: k6, p to last 6 stitches, k 6
Row 4: k to end

These 4 rows form the pattern

Repeat the last four rows until work measures  49cm
Knit 6 rows

Cast off loosely

Small amount narrow ribbon
Size 4mm needles

Cast on 24 stitches
Knit 4 rows

Next row: knit 1 , *yfd knit 2 tog*  knit from * to last stitch, knit 1
Next row: purl

Repeat the last two rows until work measures 18cm ending on the first row
Knit 4 rows

Cast off loosely purlwise

Sew side seams
Thread ribbon through first row of holes


Note: to give a pouch look omit the knit 1 stitch at start  and end of row.

cast on 66 stitches 

1st Row           *k2, p2,*rep from * to end
2nd Row          *p2, k2,* rep from * to end
 
Repeat these two rows 3 more times

 
1st row: Knit to end
2nd row: p1, *k1, p1, rep from * to end

These 2 rows form the pattern

Repeat for the last two rows until 15cm from start

Knit 2 rows

Next row (right side)  k1,* yfwd k2 tog* repeat to last stitch, knit 1
Knit 8 rows

Cast off

Sew back seam
thread ribbon through eyelet holes and pull and tie in bow

Multi Colour Texting Mitts

Multi Colour Texting Mitts
Requires approx  15g of  oddments Dk  yarn
 size 4 mm needles

Cast on 36 stitches in any colour.  Keep changing colours randomly weaving loose ends as you knit

Knit 8 rows in k1, p1 rib

Row 1: knit (right side)
Row 2: *p1 k1* repeat from * to end


Continue these two rows for 16 cm


For a longer mitt, add extra rows 

Cast off


Sew up side seam leaving a gap for thumb
