Ribbon

Cast on 18 stitches 
Knit 6  rows in Stocking stitch 
Cast off 3 stitches at start next 2 rows. (12 stitches )

Knit 3 rows in garter stitch 
Cast off
Sew seam
Add bow

Angelica Dress for 5" Doll



Fits a 5 inch baby doll

Small amount of  Dk yarn
3.75 mm needles
Ribbon bow

Cast on 52 stitches 
Knit 4 rows

Row 1: knit into back of stitch to end of row 
Row 2: purl
Repeat these two rows 4 times more

Next row : knit 2 tog across row
Knit 3 rows

Next row : k6,  cast on 4 stitches,  k3, k2 tog 4 times, knit 3 cast on 4 stitches, k 6
Knit 2 rows
Cast off

Sew back seam on right side for easy access leaving a gap at top.
Add bow

Burial Gown For Angel Baby




Dress measures length 12cm and can be made smaller by gathering ribbon at back.
Left open at the back for easier dressing

10 grams Dk yarn, small amount of contrast
4 mm needles 
white ribbon

With contrast cast on 45 stitches
Knit 3 rows
Change to main colour

*  Row 1 knit to end
   Row 2: purl to end
   Knit  4 rows* 
Continue with 6 row pattern 3 more times
Knit rows 1 - 2

Next row : K1, * s1, k1, p s s o, repeat from * to last stitch, k 1 (23) stitches

Next row: knit
Next row: k1, * yfd k2 tog to end
Knit 5 rows
Knit 6, cast on 6, knit 11, cast on 6, knit 6
Knit 3 rows
Next row: knit 15 knit 2 tog 3 times, knit 14
Cast off

Leave back open for easy access 
Thread ribbon through eyelet row to tie at back
A rose bud or small decoration can be added to the front

Left open at the back for easier dressing,  the pants  have ribbon ties 
Top measures approx 14 cm around and 14cm length

Approx 8 grams Dk yarn,
Narrow ribbon

Top 
Front 
Using 3.25 needles cast on 18 stitches
Knit 3 rows

Row 1 : knit
Row 2: knit 1, purl to  last stitches, knit 1
Row 3: Knit1, * P1, y f d, s1 purlways,  knit into back of next stitch, repeat from *  to last 2 stitches, purl 1, knit 1
Row 4: As row 2
Repeat last 4 rows 2 times 
Next 2 rows cast on 4 stitches, knit to end
Knit 6 rows
Next row: knit 10, knit 2 tog, knit 2, knit 2 tog, knit 10
Knit 1 row
Cast off

Top Backs make 2
Cast on 9 stitches
Knit 15 rows in garter stitch ( every row knit)
Next row: cast on 4 stitches, knit to end
Knit 9 rows
Cast off

Pants 
Cast on 16 stitches
Knit 3 rows
Next row : knit 1, * yfd k2 tog, repeat from * to last stitch, knit 1
Knit 6 rows
Next row: knit 2 tog, knit to last 2 stitches, knit 2 tog
Next row: knit
Repeat last 2 rows till 10 stitches remain
Next row: increase 1 stitch at both ends of row
Next row: knit
Repeat last 2 rows till 16 stitches on needle
knit 6 rows
Next row : knit 1, * yfd k2 tog, repeat from * to last stitch, knit 1
Knit 2 rows
Cast off
Leave side seams open, thread ribbon through eyelet holes, tie at sides

Using 4 mm needles
Cast on 30 stitches
Knit 3 rows
Next row: knit 1 * yfd knit 2 tog repeat from * to last stitch , knit 1 
Row 1 : knit
Row 2: purl to  end
Row 3: Knit 1 * P1, y f d, s1 purlways,  knit into back of next stitch, repeat from  *  to last 2 stitches, knit 
Row 4: As row 2
Repeat 4 row pattern 7 times
Next row : purl ( wrong side)
Continue  in stocking starting with a knit row until work when folded in half is the same length as the eyelet row
Next row: knit 1 * yfd knit 2 tog repeat from * to last stitch , knit 1 
Knit 3 rows
Cast off
Sew sides, thread ribbon through eyelet holes

Blanket
Using 4 mm needles
Cast on 20 stitches
Knit 4 rows
Row 1 : knit
Row 2: knit 4, purl to  last stitches, knit 4
Row 3: Knit 4, * P1, y f d, s1 purlways,  knit into back of next stitch, repeat from  *  to last 4 stitches, knit 
Row 4: As row 2
Repeat 4 row pattern 4 times
Knit 4 rows 
Cast off

Hat
3.25 needles
Cast on 20 stitches
Knit 3  rows
Starting with a knit row stocking  stitch 10 rows
Next row: knit 3 tog across row
Fasten off by threading the yarn through  remaining stitches , pull slightly and sew back seam

Booties knit 2
3.25 needles
Cast 18 stitches
Stocking stitch 6 rows
Cast off 3 stitches at start next 2 rows
Stocking stitch 3 rows
Knit 1 row
Cast off
Sew seam
Add bow

Burial dress is for a tiny angel baby born sleeping .

Dress measures length 10cm. Waist length before tied is 12.5 cm and can be made smaller by gathering ribbon at back.

Narrow white ribbon
Dress
Using 3.75 needles cast on 45 stitches
Knit 3 rows

1st row: knit to end
2nd row:  purl to end

Repeat these 2 rows 6 times

Next row : K1, * s1, k1, p s s o, repeat from * to last stitch, k 1 (23) stitches
Next row: purl
Next row: k1, * yfd k2 tog to end
Knit 5 rows
Knit 6, cast on 6, knit 11, cast on 6, knit 6
Knit 4 rows
Cast off

Leave back open,
Thread ribbon through eyelet row to tie at back
A rose bud or small decoration can be added to the front

Tiny Angel Baby Burial Dress

Tiny Angel Baby Burial Dress
Burial dress is for a tiny angel baby born sleeping .
Dress measures length 10cm. Waist 12.5 cm and can be made smaller by gathering ribbon at back.
Left open at the back for easier dressing
I have added a little hat that ties at the top as well.

10 grams Dk yarn
 white ribbon

Dress
Using 3.75 needles cast on 45 stitches
Knit 3 rows

1st row: knit to end
2nd row:  purl to end
3rd row: k2 *yfwd, k2 tog repeat from * to end
4th row:  purl to end
5th row: k 1 * yfwd. k2 tog, repeat from * to end
6th row: purl to end

Repeat rows 3-6 once
Next row: knit
Next row: purl

Next row : K1, * s1, k1, p s s o, repeat from * to last stitch, k 1 (23) stitches
Next row: purl

Knit 4 rows
Knit 6, cast on 6, knit 11, cast on 6, knit 6
Knit 4 rows
Cast off
Leave back open, add ribbon to tie if needed
A rose bud or small decoration can be added to the front

Hat
Using 3.75 needles  cast on  29 stitches

1st Row           *k1, p1, rep from * to end
2nd Row         * p1, k1, rep from * to end
Repeat these two rows once 
Next row:  knit
Next row: purl
Repeat these two rows 4 times

next row (right side)  k1,* yfwd k2 tog* repeat to end
Knit 2 rows
Cast off
Sew back seam

Thread ribbon through eyelet holes and pull and tie ribbon

Angel Sleeping Pocket

Angel Sleeping Pocket
4 mm needles
Dk yarn
white ribbon
To fit chest 13cm (5”)
Approx. Length 15cm (6”)

Cast on 24 stitches
Knit 4 rows

Knit to end
Knit 3 purl to last 3 stitches, knit 3

Repeat the last 2 rows until work measures 19cm

Next row: knit 3, purl to last 3 stitches, knit 3
Next row: knit
Repeat these 2 rows for 5 cm
Knit 4 rows
Cast off

Fold bottom up to the reverse stocking stitch
Sew sides seams
Add lace and ribbon bows
