Cast on 28 stitches with main colour

Knit2 rows

Rows 1 and 3 (right side): Knit

Row 2: Purl

Row 4: Purl 1, *Knit 2, purl 1* repeat from * to * to the end of row.

These 4 rows form the pattern.

Repeat these 4 rows  4 times

Change to contrast

Next row : knit 

Next row: knit

Rows 1 and 3 (right side): Knit

Row 2: Purl

Row 4: Purl 1, *Knit 2, purl 1* repeat from * to * to the end of row.

These 4 rows form the pattern.

Repeat these 4 rows  for 6 cms

Next row : k6,  cast on 4 stitches,  * k3,  k2 tog, k2, k2 tog, k3,  k2 tog , cast on 4 stitches, k 6

Knit 1 row

Cast off

Sew back seam
