40 Grams Dk yarn
Start at front
Cast on 40 stitches
Knit 6 rows in garter stitch
Next row: knit
Next row : purl
Repeat last 2 rows twice
The last 12 rows for the pattern
Repeat 12 row pattern 3 times
Knit 6 rows in garter stitch
Knit 10 stitches, cast off 20 stitches, knit to end
Knit 13 rows in garter stitch on these ten stitches ending at neck edge
Cast on 20 stitches
Break off yarn
Join yarn at next edge of other 10 stitches
Knit 13 rows ending at sleeve edge
Next row knit across all stitches
Knit 16 rows in garter stitch
Next row: knit
Next row : purl
Knit 6 rows in garter stitch
Repeat last 2 rows twice
Continue with the 12 row pattern matching rows to front and ending with 6 knit rows
Cast off
Join side seams from hem to a few rows below the garter stitch neck
