Approx 30 grams Dk yarn, small amount of tinsel  yarn

Ribbon 

Cutlery Holder

With glitter yarn cast on 20 stitches. Knit 4 rows.

Change to double knit and knit for 13 cm

Cast off

Sew seam keep at back, sew bottom seam to create a tube

Napkin ring

Cast on 24 stitches with tinsel yarn

Knit 2 rows

Change  to Dk yarn

Knit 6 rows

Change to glitter yarn

Knit 2 rows

Cast off

Join seam, add embellishment if required 

Mini Cracker

Cast on 20 stitches with tinsel yarn

Knit 4 rows

Change  to Dk yarn

Knit 1 row

Next row. : knit 1 * yfd knit 2 together, knit from * to last stitch, knit 1

Knit for 7 cm from eyelet row

Next row. : knit 1 * yfd knit 2 together, knit from * to last stitch, knit 1

Next row: knit

Change to glitter yarn

Knit 4 rows

Cast off

Join seam, thread ribbon through eyelet holes,  add embellishment if required

Small amount of Double knit yarn and glitter eyelash yarn

4 mm needles

Cast on 20 stitches with eyelash yarn

Knit 4 rows

Change to dk yarn

Row 1: Knit to end

Row 2: purl  to end 

Repeat last row until  work measures 5 cm

Change to garter stitch

Knit 4 rows

Next row : k4  cast on 4 stitches,  k4, k2 tog 2 times, knit 4 cast on 4 stitches, k 4 

Knit 1 row

Cast off

Sew back seam

Cast on 28 stitches with tinsel yarn

Knit 2 rows

Change  to Dk yarn

1st row: knit

2nd Row: Purl

3rd Row: *K1, p1; repeat from * to last stitch, knit 1

4th Row: Purl

Repeat rows 1-4 once more

Change to glitter yarn

2 rows

Cast off

Join seam, add embellishment if required

Fits a one cup teacup

5 mm needles

Approx 25 g each of green and red yarn

Small amount of red or green eyelash or tinsel yarn

Ribbon

Worked in garter stitch throughout

Make 2 pieces

With 2 strands of yarn cast on 27 stitches

Knit for  11 cm

Next row : knit 1 * y f d knit 2 together, repeat from * to end

Next row : knit

Change to eyelash yarn and knit 4 rows

Cast off

Sew side seams leaving space for handle and spout

Thread ribbon through eyelet holes and tie a bow

Oddments Dk, small amount of King Cole Glitter yarn
Ribbon bow
Size 4 mm Needles
Knitted in garter stitch throughout
Small or large size

Large tree
Begin at the bottom with the pot cast on 18 stitches
Knit 1 row
Next row: knit 2, s1, knit 1, p.s.s.o. Knit to end
Repeat row until 10 stitches
Next and every row:  knit 2, knit into front and back of next stitch, knit to end

Repeat until 18 stitches on needle
Knit 1 row 

Change to glitter yarn and cast on 6 stitches at the start of the next 2 rows (22 stitches)
Knit 1 row
Next row: knit 2, s1, knit 1, p.s.s.o. Knit to end

Repeat last row until 4 stitches remain
Next row: knit 2 tog, twice
Next row: knit 2 tog
Leave a length of yarn to make loop to hang and secure


Fold the pot join sides and attach the cast on edge to secure

Small tree
Follow pattern for large tree casting on 10 stitches for pot, decreasing at start of row until 4 stitches, then increase at start of row until 10 stitches.
For tree cast on 5 stitches at start of both rows.
