About 20 grams of dk yarn

4 mm needles

Small scented candle (optional)

Cast on 30 stitches

Pattern  rows

Row 1: k2 , p2 repeat to end

Row 2  p2, k2repeat to end

Knit these for 8 cms (or to length of candle plus a few extra rows)

Eyelet row

Next row: k1, yfd k2 tog, knit to last stitch,

Knit 4 rows 

Cast off

Sew side and bottom seam

Thread ribbon through holes

Cut and tie a bow

Cast on 30 stitches

Knit 3 rows in fancy yarn

Change to dk yarn  and continue

Pattern  rows

Row 1: knit

Row 2; knit

Row 3: k2 p2 repeat to end

Row 4: k2, p2 repeat to end

Knit these 4 rows 10 times

Cast off

Join the side  and bottom seams 

using 2 strands of yarn together thread through the top about 4 rows down from cast on edge.  Cut and tie on bow

Cast off 

Sew both seams

Peg baby clothes 

Cast on 18 stitches

Knit 14 rows

Next row, knit 2 tog across row

 Cast off

Join seam, fit on peg

Gather  bottom 

Add face

Knit 2 rows

Cast off 

Bring bottom edge up to cast off edge 

Sew both seams

Using 2 strands of yarn make a chain for handle and attach to sides of bag

Peg Shawl

Cast on 14 stitches

Knit 18 rows

Cast off

Add face

Wrap shawl around peg
