About 10 grams D K yarn in main colours, and oddments in skin tone
Small amount of toy stuffing, lace and ribbon
Dolly
Cast on 20 stitches
knit 18 rows (garter stitch) in main colour
Change to skin colour
Work 12 rows in stocking stitch
Knit 2 together across row
Sew up
Cut off yarn leaving a length to thread through stitches. Pull to close and finish off
Fold work right side inside and sew up back seam. Turn work to right side outside.
Stuff head neck, then sew small stitches around neck and pull slightly. Continue stuffing the body
Sew across bottom
Arms
Cast on 14 stitches in skin colour
Cast off
Knot one end for hand
Attach to body
Legs
Cast on 16 stitches in skin colour
knit 1 row
Cast off
Tie knot on one end for foot
Attach legs to body.
Baby Carry Bag
cast on 32 stitches
Knit every row until 16 cm
Cast off, fold in half .
Sew side seans.
Handles Make 2
Cast on 30 stitches, knit one row.
Cast off and attach to carry cot
Add lace
