Cast on 24 stitches
knit 4 rows
Next row: knit 2, (yfd knit 2  tog) to last 2 stitches, knit 2

Repeat last row until 10cm

Knit 1 row
Purl 1 row

Continue in garter stitch (every row knit) until 20cm
Knit 4 rows

Cast off

Fold in half and stitch side seams

Handle
Cast on 50 stitches

Knit 2 rows
Cast off

Attach handle
Add button
Make a double loop of yarn and attach to back of bag to correspond with button and loop it over

Next row: slip 1, knit 2 tog psso: repeat to last stitch to  end

Cut yarn and thread through stitches pulling tight to make a flower.

Attach to Wristband

Cast off

Join seam

Flower embellishment

With 4mm needles and eyelash yarn 

cast on 36 stitches

Knit 2 rows

Cut yarn and thread through stitches pulling tight to make a flower.

Christmas Tree Embellishment

Christmas Tree  Embellishment


Oddments of black Dk yarn
Oddments of fun fur yarn
Size 3.25 needles

Knitted in garter stitch. (Every row knit)

With black yarn cast 4 stitches
Knit 1 row

Increase each end of the next and every 4th row until 12 stitches on the needle
Break off black yarn and join in fun fur yarn

Cast on 5 stitches at the start of the next two rows  (22 stitches)

decrease  each end of next row and every 4th row until you have 18 stitches on needle


Next row: decrease each end of row
Next row: knit

Repeat last two rows until  10 stitches on needles

Decrease each end of next row and every 4th row  until 4 stitches on needle


Next row: k2 tog twice
Next row: k2 tog

Fasten off

Weave and loose ends

Shave off some of the fun fur yarn.  Decorate with gems

Cast off
Sew seam
Thread ribbon through eyelet holesand tie in a bow


Bonnet 1

4 mm knitting needles

Cast on 20 stitches

Work in garter stitch (every rib knit) for 3 cm

Cast off
Fold in half and long ways and sew seam

attach ribbons


Bonnet 2

4 mm knitting needles

Cast on 20 stitches in feather yarn
Knit 2 rows
Change to double knit yarn

Stocking stitch until it measures 3cm

Next row (right side). K2 tog across the row

Leave a tail of yarn and thread through remaining stitches and pull tight

Next row purl
 knit 12 rows in garter stitch

Next row: purl 2 tog across row
Cut yarn leaving enough to thread through the stitches, gather and sew up seam

Arms  knit 2

Cast on 12 stitches
Knit 14 rows
Next row:  k2 tog across row

Cut yarn leaving enough to thread through the stitches and gather and sew up seam
Stuff  well with filler

With wrong sides together sew legs and back seam up to the gathered top

Stuff with filler
Sew running stitches around base of neck and gather slightly
Sew on arms
Sew face and buttons

Embroider eyes and mouth add felt nose

Add buttons down front

Scarf

Cast on 60 stitches
Knit 4 rows
Cast off

Hat
Cast on 60 stitches

Change to skin colour and knit 8 more rows

Knit across all stitches in main colour
Knit 9 rows
Next row purl
Knit 10 more rows

Change to skin colour
Stocking stitch 11 rows

Next row: purl 2 tog across row
Cut yarn leaving enough to thread through the stitches, gather and sew up seam

Arms  knit 2

Cast on 9 stitches
Knit 9 rows
Next row: knit 1, k2 tog across row
Cut yarn leaving enough to thread through the stitches and gather and sew up seam
Stuff lightly with filler


With wrong sides together sew legs and back seam up to the gathered top

Stuff with filler
Sew running stitches around base of neck and gather slightly

Bambino Baby Doll







Oddments  D K yarn in main colour and skin tone
3.75 mm needles
Small amount of toy stuffing
ribbon

Cast on 20 stitches
knit 26 rows (garter stitch)  in main colour 
Change to skin colour
Work 10 rows in stocking stitch
Knit 2 together across row

Sew up
Cut off yarn leaving a length to thread through stitches. Pull to close and finish off 

Fold work right  side inside and sew up back seam
Turn work to right side
Stuff  head neck, then sew small stitches around neck and pull slightly
Continue stuffing the body
Sew across bottom

Arms
Cast on 8 stitches
Knit 9 rows in garter stitch
Cast off
Sew arm seam, stuff and sew onto body

Hat
Cast on 20 stitches
Knit 4 rows
Stocking stitch 6 rows
Knit 2 tog across row
Cut yarn leaving a length to thread through remaining stitches., pull tight and  stitch back seam for  1 cm
Attach hat to head, add ribbon bow
stitch a face with sewing cotton.

Gathered bottom doll
Cut off yarn leaving a length to thread through stitches.
Fold work right  side inside and sew up back seam and along the bottom

Turn work to right side
stuff the bottom part first
Stuff head neck, then sew small stitches around neck and pull slightly

Cast on 73 stitches in first colour
Row 1: *knit 1, purl 1, knit from * to last stitch, knit 1
Row 2: slip .1, * knit 1, purl 1, repeat from * to end

Repeat last 2 rows 2 more times

Next row: knit
Next  row: knit 2, purl to last 2 stitches, knit 2
Repeat these 2 rows  till work measures  5 cm ending  on right side

Change to colour two and knit  next 2 rows
Next row: knit
Next  row: knit 2, purl to last 2 stitches, knit 2
Repeat the last 2 rows for 2 cms ending on a knit row
Next row: knit (wrong side)

Change to colour 1 continue in stocking stitch working 2 knit stitches at start and end of purl rows
until work measures 13 cm  from cast on edge

Change to second colour and  knit 2 rows

Change to first colour
Shape crown
Next row: *Knit 6, k2 together, continue till last stitch, k1
Purl and every alternative row:

Repeat last 2 rows twice more

Using 3.75 needles cast  on 63 stitches in feather yarn

Knit 5 rows in garter stitch ( knit every row)

Change to 4mm needles and Dk yarn


Work in stocking stitch one row knit, one row purl working 4  knit stitches each end of every purl row
Continue until work measures  11cm

Shape Crown
Row 1: *k6, k2tog* repeat to last stitch, k1 
Row 2 and all alt rows - purl 
Row 3: *k5, k2tog* repeat to end
Row 5: *k4, k2tog* repeat to end 
Row 7: *k3, k2tog* repeat to end 
Row 9:  *k2, k2tog* repeat to last 3 stitches, K3
