Easy to make pattern for a little hat for the Innocent Smoothie Big Knit charity raising campaign.
The Big Knit
Oddments of double knit yarn
4 mm knitting needles
Cast on 28 stitches
Row 1: k1, p1 to end of row (Seed stitch)
Row 2: p1, k1 to end
These 2 rows form the pattern
Continue until 5cm
Next row: k1, *yfd k2tog*, repeat from *'*to last stitch, k1
Row 1: k1, p1 to end of row
repeat the last 2 row once more
Cast off
Sew side seam
Thread ribbon through eyelet holes and tie in bow
