Simple Boat Coast

 

Oddments of 3 colours of  dk yarn

Size 4 mm Needles

Begin at the bottom cast on 20  stitches

Next and every row:  knit 2, knit into front and back of next stitch, knit to end

Repeat until 30 stitches on needle

Change to second colour 

Next row: knit 2, knit 1, slip 1, p s s o, Knit to end

Next row: knit 2, purl 2 tog, purl to last 2stitches, knit 2

Repeat last 2 rows until 3 stitches remain

Next row: knit 2 tog, k 1

Next row: knit 2 tog

Fasten off

Weave in ends

Flag

Cast on 7 stitches

Knit 1 row

Next rows: knit 2 tog at start each row until 2 stitches remain

Knit 2 tog

Fasten off and attach to boat
