Next row: knit 12 cast off 12 stitches knit 12
Next row: knit 12 cast on 12 stitches, knit 12
Knit 9 rows
Next 2 rows cast off 8 stitches knit to end
Next row: purl
Row 1: knit
Row 2: purl
Repeat these 2 rows 6 times
Work 3 rows in k1, p1 rib
