4 mm needles
Note:
Change colours randomly at start of row even if there is only enough yarn for a couple of rows.
Cast on 28 stitches
1st row: p1, *k1, p1, rep from * to end
2nd row: Knit to end
Repeat last 2 rows for 12 cms
Next row : knit (decrease 2 stitches across the row)
Next row: knit to end
Next row : k6, cast on 4 stitches, * k3, k2 tog, k2, k2 tog, k3, k2 tog , cast on 4 stitches, k 6
Knit 2 rows
Cast off
Sew back seam

Just knitted this dress and was unable to finish because it doesn’t work out when you get to the next row and instructions say to knit 6 cast on 4 sets. *K3 k2tog. K2 K2tog. K3 K2tog cast on 4 sets k6. There isn’t enough sets on needle to do this step. When I complete the above rows there are 14 sts left on needle. How can next row be completed? Would like to finish this dress for my granddaughter.
ReplyDeleteI think you may have decreased too many stitches on the decrease row, you only need to decrease 2 stitches to leave 26 stitches and then you will have enough stitches to complete the dress
