Approx 25 grams Dk yarn in green, red and white
3.75 mm needles
Ribbon or cord
Knit 2 pieces
Cast on 34 stitches in green
Row 1: *k2 p2 repeat from * to end
These row form the pattern
Work 4 rows in green
Work 4 rows in white
Work 4 rows in red
Knit 2 rows in garter stitch (every row knit) in between each colour
Ending with 2 knit rows in white
Continue in white
Next row: knit
Next row : purl
Repeat last 2 rows 7 times
(34 rows)
Eyelet row
Next row: knit 1, * yfd, knit 2 tog to last stitch, knit 1
Knit 5 rows in garter stitch (every row knit)
Cast off
Join sides leave gap for handle and spout
Thread ribbon through eyelet holes
