Knit 3 rows

Cast off  

sew up back seam

Bag

Cast on 8 stitches

Knit 16 rows in garter stitch 

Cast off

Sew sides

Handle

Cast on 10 stitches

Knit 1 row, cast off

Attach to bag

Change to dk yarn

Pattern rows

Row 1:   K1, to end

Row 2:  p1,  * to end

Knit these 2 rows  11  times 

Next row : knit 8, knit 2 tog twice, knit 8

Next row :purl

Next row : k4, cast on 4 stitches,  k1, k2 tog 3 times, k1, cast on 4 stitches, k 4

Knit 3 rows

Cast off  

sew up back seam
