Knit 2

Cast on 35 stitches

Row 1: knit 3, purl 2 to end

Row 2: knit 2, purl 3 to end

Repeat these two rows 25 times 

Cast off

Sew up side seam leaving a gap for the thumb

1 cup tea pot 

Scraps  of left overs Dk yarn 

3.75 mm needles 

Work with scraps of yarn with each colour enough for at least 2 rows. Change colour randomly at start of row.

Knit 2 pieces , they don’t have to be matching

Cast on 34 stitches 

Row 1:    *k2 p2, repeat from * to end

Row 2:  * p2, k2, repeat from * to end

Repeat these 2 rows 16 times 

Cast off

Join sides leave gap for handle and spout

Thread double strand of yard, thread through top approx. 3 rows down, knot each end and tie in bow

Flower

Cast on 60 stitches 

Works 4 rows in knit 2, purl 2 rib

Next 2 rows : Knit 2 tog. across row

Leave a length of yarn thread through remaining stitches pull tight into a flower and attach with a button to centre.
