Cast on 40 stitches
Knit 26 Ridges in garter stitch
Cast on 8 stitches at start next 2 rows
Knit 11 ridges
Cast off
Front
Cast on 40 stitches
Knit 26 Ridges in garter stitch
Cast on 8 stitches at start next 2 rows
Knit 5 more ridges
Next row: knit 28 stitches, turn and work on these stitches for another 6 ridges
Cast off
Rejoin yarn at next edge of left side and complete as left side
Sew shoulder seam fit 10 cms from sleeve edge
Sew side and underarm seam
Fold both sides of neck down to create a collar, secure with a few stitches
Add buttons
