1 cup tea pot cosy
Approx 30 grams red Dk yarn, oddments of white eyelash or similar yarn
3.75 mm needles
Ribbon or cord
Knit 2 pieces
Cast on 34 stitches in white
Knit 6 rows in garter stitch (every row knit)
Change to red
Row 1: knit
Row 2: purl
Repeat these 2 rows 14 times
Eyelet row
Next row: knit 1, * yfd, knit 2 tog to last stitch, knit 1
Next row: purl
Change to white yarn
Knit 4 rows in garter stitch ( every row knit)
Cast off
Join sides leave gap for handle and spout
Thread ribbon through eyelet holes
Add button
