Approx 10g main colour, small amount white Dk  yarn

size 3.75 and 4 mm needles

Size small: to fit 3-5 year old 
Circumference 13 cm 
approx 12 cm from wrist

Cast on 29 stitches with 3.75 needles and white yarn 
Knit 5 rows

Change to 4 mm needles and green or red yarn
*  Row 1: knit to end
   Row 2: purl to end

   Row 3: knit to end

   Row 4: purl to end

   Knit  4 rows* 

Continue with 8 row patten 2 jmore times

Knit rows 1 - 4 

Change to white yarn 

Knit 4 rows

Cast off

Sew up side seam leaving a gap for the thumb

Knit 5 rows

Change to red yarn and work 40 rows in garter stitch

Button hole row: k3, yfd k2 tog, knit to end

Knit 3 more rows

Cast off 23 stitches change to white yarn and knit last 6 stitches

Strap

Knit every row on these stitches for 17 Cm

Cast off
