Approx 15 gm DK Yarn,

4 mm needles

Motif

Mug wrap

24 cm Circumference

8 cm height

Cast on 48 stitches 

Knit 4 rows

Row 1 : knit

Row 2: knit 4, purl to  last stitches, knit 4

Row 3: Knit 4, * P1, y f d, s1 purlways,  knit into back of next stitch, repeat from *  to last 4 stitches, knit 4, 

Row 4: As row 2

Repeat last 4 rows 7 times
Knit 4 rows

Cast off

Make up

Wrap around mug and catch a few stitches to other end of knitting.  Do the same at bottom. Attach motif.

Mug coaster

Cast on 20 stitches

Knit 4 rows

Row 1 : knit

Row 2: knit 4, purl to  last stitches, knit 4

Row 3: Knit 4, * P1, y f d, s1 purlways,  knit into back of next stitch, repeat from  *  to last 4 stitches, knit 4 

Row 4: As row 2

Repeat 4 row pattern 4 times

Repeat rows 1 and 2

Knit 4 rows

Cast off
