Knit 4 rows in garter stitch

Change to main colour

Next row and every row knit for 12 rows

Next 2 rows cast on 6 stitches for sleeves and knit to end (28 stitches)

Knit 8 rows

Next row: knit 9 cast  off 10 stitches  knit 9 

Next row: knit 9, cast on 10 stitches, knit 8

Knit 8 rows

Next 2 rows  cast off 6 stitches knit to end

Knit 12 rows 

Change to contrast colour, 

Knit 4 rows 

Cast off, sew side and sleeve seams

Skirt

With contrast cast on 30 stitches

Knit 2 rows

Change to main colour 

Knit until work measures 8 cm

Next row: decrease 5 stitches evenly across row

Knit 2 rows
