cast on 66 stitches in contrast yarn

1^st Row           *k1, p1, rep from * to end

2^nd Row          *k1, p1, rep from * to end

Repeat these two rows 3 more times

Change to main colour

Row 1: knit

Row 2 :knit

Row 3: knit 1, *yfd, k2 tog* repeat to last stitch knit 1

Row 4: purl

Row 5: knit

Row 6: knit

Repeat rows 3-6   8 times (15cm)

Knit 2 rows

Next row (right side)  k1,* yfwd k2 tog* repeat to last stitch, knit 1
Knit 8 rows

Cast off

Sew back seam
Thread ribbon through eyelet holes and pull and tie ribbon
